Amal Clooney, human rights attorney and wife of actor George Clooney, recently granted NBC her first American interview. In it, she revealed she does not actually consider herself a celebrity. While dozens of paparazzi and tabloid magazines beg to differ, it does raise an interesting point: celebrities are frequently famous without ever having asked for it. Clooney stresses that her current case is not just a job, but a threat to democracy everywhere.
